I'm currently working as a code monkey for Morgan Stanley. Some time ago, I finished my Master's in AI at McGill University. I hail originally from Bucharest, Romania, but have since relocated to Montreal (with an intermediate stop in Ottawa).
Despite popular belief, it was not for the weather.

In my past life as a research nerd, I worked with algorithms that (try to) learn approximate predictive representations of partially observable models by taking in consideration the agent's interest in the world.
